Ok, I've been reading the boards off and on for a while now and have heard of a lot of brands of so called "super woofers". I haven't read that much about sealed performance. I have about 3 to 4 cubic feet to work with (would like smaller if possible) and would like to go with 1 15". I am starting to outgrow my SPL days a little and am looking to get rid of my two 15" titaniums in order to get one super woofer. My amp is rated for 1500 watts RMS at 1 ohm...i realistically get closer to 1300 i would guess. Rated 1000 watts RMS at 2 ohms. I am now looking for something geared more towards SQ and something that does better in the low low region (20 to 30 hz). The Ti's are loud and pretty accurate, but they are more of a street bass sub and don't get the really low notes well. The box i am running now is right around the max volume that is reccomended for sealed boxes for the sub as well. Budget would be around $350 max (cheaper the better). Who's got suggestions?

you got pm

But brahma's would fit your bill. I've owned brahma 15's and the ti's and the brahma's are much deeper; but check your pm's.

Ascendant Audio Avalanche 15.. this woofer has amazing sound quality and has GREAT low end response... not to mention there's plenty of output.
You're correct, it does...but I'd appreciate it as would eveyone else if you didn't make such comments since you don't have one yet and haven't had experience with it.

I see you in a lot of posts commenting on how great it is, but in other posts asking about it like you haven't heard it yet...I'm confused.

Either way though, on topic, they are great woofers and have extreme low end, but I don't think they're the right choice with that much power.

After reading your post a Brahma 15 fits you perfectly. They dont' require as much power as some other "super wooofers" and they are really well known for being bottom feeders. I own one and it's the best sub I have ever had. The bass is loud, but not intrusive like on many other systems. They work great sealed as well.

Yeah, but it is a little out of my price range. Anybody have a guess about how much I could get from selling the Ti's?
