Sealed or ported?

I know the common sense differences, like i originally wanted ported so i could get some low shaky bass but i feel like its so much easier to build a sealed box. But is it gonna still slap hard? I plan on making 2 3.0 cubic foot sealed boxes for my 12s(2 to fit in my trunk better). They're kicker cvr 12" dvc 4ohms.

my setup atm is

- a dual 12" atrend prefabbed box

- 2 renegade 1000watt amps

- 2 12" cvrs

- stock headunit(hell yeah)

- stock everything else(no alternator upgrades or nothing)

If you are gonna build a box, atleast go ported. Why spend so much time to get minimal results? 3.0 cu ft per sub sealed? for CVR's? dang if you're gonna do that, definitely go ported. There are plenty of free box designs online.. and don't make two enclosures, it's a waste of space.. get a design for dual 12's ported.. there are plenty of them online.
