sealed or ported at 3.5 cu.ft. ?

i am gonna do 2 l7 12" subs .. i built a custom console/box and it only came out to 3.5 and thats outside dimensions and its as big as it can get without removing my rear seat, my subs need .88 min sealed and 1.75 min ported each so should i fudge it a little and just port it or just leave it sealed? THanks

I would go with a sealed enclosure at 3.5 ft. It will probably be really peaky in that a ported enclosure that small. It should still get plenty loud and l7's have decent sq sealed.

YEa, leave it sealed.. it should sound nice. Listen for the subs bottoming out, if they don't then let it wang.

Yea they are really punchy and can still get pretty loud sealed. Just give them atleast 1500wrms.
