Got to finish the mustang box (pretty close to done) then I another large box, then yours. Might actually get started on yours sometime this weekend, while I wait for paint to dry on the other one.

I hear you. I had my trees trimmed last week, and just had time to haul off all the limbs. Took 8 trailer loads in this 40-45 mph wind. Wasnt too much fun...

Well the good news is the batts are in and mounted solid, the upper frame is done, unfortunately I over estimated my installed height of the batts though so now I'm going to have to do some changing on the box design //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Anyway here are some pics of the batts mounted down and where the amps are going to go (ab500.1 and kicker zx550.2). I need to make some mounting tabs for them but should be quick and easy. May leave the sides of the frame open for cooling or may board them up and run fans if necessary, not sure yet. Will also have to add a support brace in the middle of the top piece of the frame:

That was my initial plan but decided to keep them in the cab so I don't have to start blowing holes in the bed/cab to make alot of runs of 1/0 from the toolbox to the cab. I wanted the batts as close to the amp as possible for voltage reasons too.

Its a pain but I'll work around it, my biggest problem is fitting the surface area to face all 4 subs up. I'll get something figured out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I don't understand how people find places like this to take a picture. Any place that looks like that here in Miami is packed 24/7, and wouldn't be able to park your car like that and take a quick snap, regardless.
