I was wanting to know if it would be bad if i transfered my two 15inch kicker subs from a sealed box to a ported box i was wanting to know if it would be bad for the subwoofer

If you have a 12db per octave filter, set it to the same frequency as your enclosure tuning.

With a 24db per octave filter, you can set it an octave lower than tuning...

if the amp has a subsonic filter, you set it to 75% of the box tuning. low pass filter should very high and the head unit should take care of that. Low pass on the head unit will be 80hz.

So i have the box port tuned to 34 hz what should the gain fz and bass boost on the amp be the bass has an onsane difference between ported and sealed

well bass boost is distortion so best not to any or least possible (that's y these guys run insane power like 3500 rms to 2 8's, all clean power no boost) gain really depends on volts your hu sends to amp 2,4,5?, higher volts u have lower the gain setting.. ss filter set right around 30hz, lowpass really to me depends on what hp xover on mids is set it most do 80-120hz..

Settings is up to what you have. Bass boost always at 0. You can use it but it's hard to use it right without a RTA and O-scope.

Ported will be louder around tuning. 3-5db louder which isn't a whole lot but it's enough to notice.
