What's up? I know this question may sound pretty stupid but I was wondering if it would be possible to convert a already-made sealed box (example Q-logic) into a ported/vented enclosure? It is a question that just plaques my mind. If would ever be possible, do you guys have any idea on how to do it? Thanks!

Yes it is possible. But, if the enclosure is too small you will have a very hard time tuning it to an appropriate frequency.

I have 2 RF HX2 12" and about 2 months ago the guy at hifi buys told me to get it sealed. ****in idiot that guy is, this is when i didnt know **** about subs. how can i convert that to a ported box. i have a 99 explorer and the box is pretty big.

No problem. The Dayton ultimax is one of the better sounding sealed subs I’ve heard. I kinda want to try the 18 in my ride.
