The sealed box will be in the back of a 1998 Accord, so I should have plenty of space.

The dimensions of the box are W=17.25" H=14" D=11", with 1.08 cubic feet before displacement. Since this will be my first box any helpful hints or techniques would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help in advance. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

make sure it is air tight....before screwing everything together use some silicon sealent on the gaps.....do the same after it is assembled.....use 3/4 mdf or larger .....tnuts work good for connecting the sub to the box....peace

No problem. The Dayton ultimax is one of the better sounding sealed subs I’ve heard. I kinda want to try the 18 in my ride.
