SE sealed vs w6v2 sealed

Can these two even be put in the same category?

Maybe in SPL they would be similiar, but in their recommended enclosures, you will most certainly here a difference in SQ in which the W6v2 is superior in.

Well I have personal experience with both drivers, and plenty of reviews from dealers that carry both products. The w6 is the JL driver that is closest to the RE SE, with that, the SE proved to have capabilities of getting louder and sounding better.

what size box did you have the SE in

anything you didnt like about the SE

thinking about putting my HC in my room and getting 2 SE's for my car

I just ran my SE12 temp. in 1 cube sealed inbetween my more 'serious' installs, and for the crappy box I was very impressed with it. 2 12's ported in about 2.5 cubes will sound great. SE is "or was" easily one of my favorite drivers, untill the prices went up.

i have an SE and a buddy of mine has a w6v2, IMO i think the SE is louder but the w6 sounds a lil better SQ wise. both were ported

i like my SE //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
