Okay man I need your help if u don't mind.

In Marketing class me and my partner gotta design a new product. We decided to go with a design for an all new woofer, so I am doing some maket research with you guys. Please list what you want in a woofer with answers to my questions. Feel free to offer new ideas, hints, or really anything @ all.

This is serious. I mean a realistic dream woofer, a dialy driver not just competition shit here,, but tha can be competed with.

How about two electrically charged rods (one +, and the other-) that produce a spark. When the spark is created it causes a low pitch freq. (Kinda like thunder is created.) the power handling would be what ever the rod could with stand, efficence would be 100% due to no friction 'cause there's no moving parts and best of all it could potentially last for ever. Impedance: how ever you wired it.

I have really heard about something like this as an expierment. Whether it was BS or not may be a different story. It would be pretty cool though.

What I would do personally is take the specs of the Brahma Extreme and add 5 more mm of Xmax to it.

Really? I was leaning a little more towards the XXX for my specs. Anybody know of a program I can get to design my own woofers and enclosures? if so I'd appriciate knowing where and how much it costs.
