School me on building ported boxes!

I Know theres a lot of information out there but its all so confusing to me. i can barely find information on building a ported box for 2 subs, i can only find for 1 sub.

i want the size of the box to be W-41in. L-16in and H- 14.75in.

i read to get the internal you subtract 1.5 or 2X3/4 mdf.

im using 2 12" type r dvc 4 ohms

mount depth - 7.7in

mount displacement - 10.9 in

displacement front .071ft^3

manafacture dimentions -

vented

18"X13.5 inX16.5in (one sub) ( i need for two..do i double the in.?)

gross int vol - 1.7ft^3

vent are diam. - 125in^2 (12in. X 1.25in)

vent length - 22.75 in. ( the length i measure in my car was 16in so should i make my box longer to like 26in?)

vent. disp - .305ft^3

net int vol - 1.3 ft ^3

i want it tuned to 33hz

idk how to use this information

the subs are running of about 600 watts each of an AQ 1200d amp.

any help would be appreciated

x2 or use re's box builder. its a good way to start out but not really accurate on tuning. the12volt.com has a tuning calculator

i looked but idk what it means. it says stuff like 3 at 32. what am i suppose to be lookin at

3 @ 32 means the internal volume of the box is 3 cubic feet tuned to 32 Hz.

does 1hz make any difference?

i wanted 33 but all i found was 32 and 34 at 4.4

You probably won't notice any difference in 1Hz. You don't have to go by the plans exactly.. Do whatever fits best in your vehicle and and just pick a tuning frequency. Tune high if you just want high dB numbers from a meter or tune anywhere in the range of ~30-38Hz (depending on which sub you choose) to keep a decent sound quality.

I have don't have anything really to say pertaining to this thread... but I seriously LOL'd at your sig dB-SPL. I don't know what's funnier, roadmaster claiming that 100dB's can cause hearing damage, or the fact that roadmaster can actually obtain 100dB levels //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Actually, OSHA requires that employers not only provide ear plugs, but make it mandatory for their employees to wear them anywhere a work area exceeds 85dB. I'm sure that over-excessive exposure to 100+dB would result in a noticeable hearing impairment through time. Which is why I steal ear plugs from work before I listen to my Roadmasters.. Safety first.
