Ported or Sealed....single 10'' RE SE D4

[94'BLKBRD 10+ year member]

I have a single 10'' RE SE D4 sub/ 'stealth' box in my 98' Camaro. It's powered by a Kicker ZX750.1 Amp I'm getting a custom box made but don't know whether to go sealed or ported.

What do you guys think this particular sub will like? Sealed or ported?

I am currently running 2 RE SE 12 D4's sealed.

Depends on what you prefer.

If you like accuracy, go sealed.

If you want it loud, go ported. I didnt like mine sealed (not loud enough) so am currently building a ported box for both.

These subs really shine when ported from what I have heard.

Cameron had 2 12" re se's sealed in a box made for a camaro, like a subthump box i think, mines a box from onlinecarstereo

im liking 2 12"s sealed. still gets plenty loud.

im a sealed fan myself, maybe not quite as loud as ported but you dont have missing frequencies. if you like music go sealed. if your wanting loud and dont mind it only being loud for certain songs then go ported. 1.3@32hz
