yea id go with two L7 15"s. they get loud. really ****ing loud... but its mostly on the install still.

what about the guy you going against's box? if they all dont know car audio beyond the name brands, what makes you think he has the competence to build and tune a correct box?

well a friend of mine was asking a friend of his and he didn't kno about his box all that it is ported

but about the kicker L7's, i don't really wanna have to trade in stuff or sell the 15" cause that takes time and thats somethin i don't really have a lot of plus thats a lot of changes being made that i just don't wanna have to go through

first, what kind of vehicle do you have??? not him... you... i read the thread, and its not long, but i cant remember. what amplifier do you have (if you have one at all)...

we need this information. then you can build a comp box...

If it is by mic, then go to a local shop, have them help you in finding the resonant freq of your vehicle, build a fart box specifically designed to go with your res freq, and send the sub the most power you can. You have a Cherokee? they have amazing cabin gain.

So since it's by mic do all of these steps to make it louder, and when you burp it at the right freq, it may not sound louder because of the higher frequency but it will be louder most likely.

A full blown spl setup with a 15" woofer has the capability of putting up higher numbers then a dual 12" dd setup, you just have to do it correctly.

You cant keep saying no to this and no to that if you want us to help you...

the RE8s are cheap as hell 6 Re8s= the price of 1 xxx 12. THey also do not take that power to move. so alt upgrade will be out of the question. I mean even if u do not win u will be remembered.

I have 2 RE8s in an .60 cuft per chamber enclosure. They surpise the hell out of evey one. THey even surpised me. And plus they are sealed, all i need is george or jamac to me give some tube port dimension.
