SAZ-3000d's strapped at 1 ohm

If you want to run two 3kw amps at 1/2 ohm each then you will want 300+ amp alternator capacity and 4 or more Group-31 batteries -- preferably high capacity like XS Power D3100.

If I had to guess I'd say about 50-60% of SAZ-3000D owners run them at 1/2 ohm.

PS: It is not covered by free replacement warranty... but we will still replace them on a pro-rated billing scale based on condition starting at $50 for mint condition (so it's still much cheaper than repair).

I know it's not covered under the warranty. And I have a 290 amp DC alt, and I'm gonna pick up some Deka 9a31's, between 4 and 6, depending on how my funds look. Well they're gonna be the ones form Carquest, but I've heard they're the same exact battery. And I'm probably gonna do 2 positive and 2 negative runs of 1/0 from front to back. Along with a G31 YT up front.

Sweet, thanks for posting. I was gonna email you this morning but I saw that you posted....What would be your estimate on the power I'm gonna get out of them strapped at one ohm?

They are great amps. Looks like you will have the electrical to support them strapped at1. Let us know how it goes.

Over 6kw -- it's hard to say as the impedance curve of systems vary quite a bit and your power output will vary by frequency, etc.
