Different heat sink, it just doesn't have the two or three middle fins on the sides. Looks identical from the top

the v2 also has fuses, I don't have the remote knob but if you can find one for a reasonable price i'll take it out of the cost of my amp

Ya I guess I was wrong, the v2 isn't internally fused. I had a v2 before and it was fused. Strange
