SAVING up 1500-2000, what subs recomended?

i am currently saving up money, around 1500 or 2000 for some subs, my main goin is SPL but i want to SOUND GOOD as well?

im looking to buy either ONE or TWO subs?

like stated spl and sq are needed, 60/40

space is not an issue...

&& would like a decent efficency(dont wanna drop a TON on the amp to get them barely moving.)

i have a few ideas but what do the people who know what there talking about recomend?

With that much money, your options are fairly open. How is your electrical to get started?

220 amp alt,

want a second alt in the future,

plan on a hc3800 or somthing else large.

really will do whatever it takes..

edit: also have never droped bellow 13 volts (for some reason i rest at 16?)

is this 2g's strictly for subs or for sub/amp/electrical?

i have a feeling the electrical is going to cost a lot more than you think it will. Im running 4krms, and my electrical setup costs roughly $1500

and sounding good, being able to do more than just a burp. my expectations arnt too to high, as long as i could hit a decent note.

if you want to spend 2g's on subs, you could buy a pair of 18" RE XXX's.

Honestly though, you dont need to spend that much on subs.

id probbly go above the window as i dont really plan on competing in anything other than local shows, and it would save me a bunch of space that i could use for my amps and batterys

you can get audioque HDC3's for cheap right now, i think $250 each for 18's, and those are some beastly subs.

other then that, look into DC level 4's or level 4XL's, Sundown Nightshades, Fi BTL's....
