Safe to wire 8 subs to one Mono amp ?

I recently purchased 8 MA Audio MA121XQ 300 watt rms 12" 4 ohm DVC Subwoofers .... I was just wanting to make sure i can wire all these subs to a Hifonics Brutus BXi 2006D @ a 1ohm load ... This amp will put out around 2000 watts rms ... Giving each sub about 250rms ... Let me here some opinions about this setup ... And if your wondering they will be going in a custom box for a 2001 Toyota celica

yes you could wire all the subs dual coils in parallel and all 8 in series parallel

Likewise, you can take each sub, wire the two voice coils in series for an impedance of 8 ohms per sub. Then just wire all the subs together in one parallel strand and you've got a final impedance of 1 ohm.
