single run of 1/0 should easily fit under the door sill/carpet. I had 4 runs under the carpet with no issues. Not worth doing it outside the vehicle as it's a lot more work to make sure it's secured properly....

I had them in my camaro for over a year w/o a problem....

Yeah it can go either way. I think it is more work to run it in the car. One run should not be a problem to route through a car, but each car has different space requirementsl.
