Sa 12S, fi ssd or custom subs?

I want to get rid of my current subs(alpine type r's) and get some sa 12s or 2 fi ssd 15 or should I get custom subs made. They'll be powered by 2 pb 2k amps and kenwood 2k if needed. If you have had any experience with these subs post with details and if I need custom subs who can make some?

i have ran every sa sub out, love them. i would chose them before FI... i have a brand new sa15 for sale fyi

i ran 2 fi ssd 12s and then one 15 ssd there good but there is better.

Run some customs from Ssacket or PSi or SPLaudio

I am a firm believer in the philosophy of building/getting built. You can tailor them the way you want them, for your specific purpose. Many sub builders out there who can make ya what ya want.

Well if I go with 2 sa 12s would those amps be fine also with the sa 12s can I get some box specs anyone? Ported obviously.

Their new line is decent, but over priced. Be wary of their stuff from the mid 2000's. Some of their amps were golden (not necessarily talking about pre Maxxsonics either), but mostly specific, big wattage models. I'd go with MB Quart over Hifonics; though it's the same company, MB Quart is a solid notch above HF.

You can pick up some Ssackett subs used for a very fair price, and they would be extremely tough to beat. I'd also stick to one specific model of amplifier and not mixing and matching the pb's w/ the kenwood.

had a 2008 no where near 2000 at 1 ohm . power hungry amps draw so much
