15" comps of 12" L7s

ok so im either going to get 2 15" kciker c15s or 2 12" L7s and i would use a zx 1500.1 amp on both setups.

the comps would be in a 36" x Height 16" x Depth 18" box ported

and the l7s would be in a 36" x Height 16-1/4" x Depth 18-1/4" ported box

what are the pros and cons

hard to beat the L7s in overall output, but its very hard to get an L7 to sound good. the comps are much more musical subs but most likely wont give you the output the L7s would.

It all depends one how much air you can give them and whaty your box is like... but the L7's will probably be louder yes

yes you would be able to feed the L7s more power and they are VERY loud. it just takes a really good box design to make them very musical. it can be done tho.

the one on the left is 16-3/8"TD x 19-9/16"BD x 32-3/8"W x 16"H

and the one on the right is 36" x Height 16-1/4" x Depth 18-1/4"

the L7s will be better suited for that amp, thats a lot of power for the c15s

do your self a favor, dont get a prefab box, have someone design you one that wont be a high tuned fart box.
