SA-12 Popping At Low Levels

I am confused as to why this is happening and hopefully you guys can help me out.

Recently when I have been listening to music the sub will make a pop sound. This doesn't happen all the time and it will even happen at low volumes. Some days it'll go strong without any sound when playing at high levels. Another thing I think is weird is that it generally does it on the higher notes and not the lower ones.

I've looked at the coils and they look fine. There's no rubbing when I press on the cone so I don't know what it could be.

It also sometimes will play at lower volumes with the same settings half way through a song and turn up randomly through songs. Recently my headlights started to dim and same with the dome lights in the car; don't know if the electrical would play into the popping sound. The lights haven't always dimmed, this just started to happen too.

I would start by checking all of your ground connections, for that matter, I would do a complete system check-front to back. Every connection, whether it be grounds or rca's.

Check RCAs and grounds. I had this problem when i had my 2 12s in and i thought i was bottoming out but it was my rear view popping on my windshield even on low volume. Rattles in your car can make you wonder sometimes haha

I've checked all the connections and everythings good. It may be the rcas because they are pretty cheap, but the other rcas I have aren't that long and its either I annoy neighbors for a while trying to wait for the random time it happens again when I switch them or drive around with my deck out for a while and a cable running through the middle of my car. If this is the only suggestion I'll try it out. And its definately the sub thats making the noise, nothing else in the car makes a noise except for the license plate.
