?'s before Sealed Q 18's

Gonna build a sealed enclosure for 2 Q 18's.

2004 Tahoe. Subs back or up? I'm thinking back but I get close to the lift gate that way. 21 inches high keeps the amps under the headrest.

I was going to start at 8 cubes per and let displacements knock it down from there. That keeps me the best distance from the lift gate.

I'll pretty much have the amp rack right on top of it.

 
I have them ported right now. Thats in a 16 cube at 33. I want to seal em.

At a little better than a sheet I think it would be worth doing anyway. I'm just going with the room I have.

It takes 3 more inches off the gate where the port is now going sealed subs back.

 
subs back will just rattle your car regardless of how well you dynamat IMO subs up at the back corner would sound just as good as not give you the extra rattling which can hurt bass performance
