runs of wire question

Hey ok i have a question about multliple runs of wire from a battery in front to battery in rear to amp. Would i just go from + on batery in front to + on battery in back, and - from battery in front to - in battery in back the + from battery in back to + in amp, and - on battery in back to - on amp. Then ground the neg at front. Heres a pic of what i mean (the boxs on the + wire are fuses)

Also say i wanted to do two runs of 1/0 would i do 2 + and 2 negatives between the batterys and then just do 1 run of 1/0 to the amp?

Heres another option that i was thinking how you do it. Just wasnt sure if i would have the ground at the battery in back also. This seems more logical to me but who knows if im right.

Thanks for the help! hope i made a little bit of sense, please let me know whatever i did wrong im open to suggestions!

Well right now im only running 1500 but im doing this because i plan on running ~3500 but i just wanted to upgrade my electrical first, i already got a EA 200a alt, and 2/3 of the big 3 done.

As for the wiring, in the first pic is the neg of the second battery suppose to go to the amp or should i just dont worry about that and go from amp to ground? As far as the fuses go where should i fuse at? thanks

The first pic looks fine to me, including the fuse locations. I would ground the amp to the second battery. You may want to fuse the + wire from the 2'nd battery to the amp.

ok when you mean ground the amp to the second battery, do you mean going from the neg terminal on the amp to the chassis? or is there some other way? because it would be a bit of a pain to fit two 1/0 wires in there, id probably have to cut some of the wires off or something.

I would go from the amp negative to the battery negative.

There are several options for battery terminals for the second battery to connect a couple runs of 1/0.

1 option is to use these http://cgi.ebay.com/KnuKonceptz-Triple-1-0-Gauge-Battery-Terminal-Pair-NEW_W0QQitemZ320206932804QQihZ011QQcategoryZ50549QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Here is what I have at my main (and only) battery under the hood. These connect to rings terminals http://cgi.ebay.com/Stinger-Dual-Ring-Shoc-Krome-Battery-Terminal-SPT53103_W0QQitemZ200192046588QQihZ010QQcategoryZ50549QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

.

well thats not really what i meant //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif what i meant was along with the amp neg to battery negative, do i also go from amp neg to ground, thus having two runs of 1/0 going into the neg terminal at my amp. Or do i just forget about the amp neg to ground.
