Running two amps

I am planning on running two amps in my car, a couple of questions.

Can I just splice the main power cable I have running to my amp atm. If I can, how could I do this?

How far should the two the two grounds be away from each other?

Can I just splice my remote wire for the two amps?

Power from battery is only 4 gauge, 8 gauge from the 4 gauge for the amp power, using 4 for ground. The amps are a 400 watt and a 250 watt.

for this like stated a distro block will be perfect for power wire and the like stated ^^^^ daisy chain the remote wire
