Running Amp Bridged...

so it would just look like this? all out of the only channel?

but i don't have to buy like 'a bridge' or something? it's just a term for if you're running a multichannel amp?

Yes, thats how you would wire it. Do you have the manual for the amp? There are certain terminals that you have to connect to, and possibly a switch that you have to flip. (thats how it is on my old kenwood amp).

The term "bridging" is used because you are actually connecting/bridging the two channels of the amp into 1 channel.

so lets say hypathetically(sp) i had a 200w x 2 multichannel amp, and i wanted to run a 400w rms sub off it, would it look like this?

edit: the text in the box that's the amp says 200w x 2 lol
