Well after everything in my car was rewire i hooked up my Rockford Fosgat X6.C and once i turned on the car....well i guess i could say it was an early fourth of july fireworks show....im not sure what the problem was, my only guess is a bad amp so Rockford Fosgate will be getting a call tommrow....

well what would be the problem with the wiring then...i did not even have the speakers up to the amp becuase i was just seeing if it would work and i had the ground and power in the right place along with the remote and RCA's so i dunno how it could have been the wiring???

could have been a bad ground.

Well, some amps will just fry as soon as you hok them up. Ive hasd this hapen on teo occasions. I took one amp off, hooked the new one up and it just smoked. Bad amp. Not all of them are perfect... See if you can get it replaced by RF first, make sure your wiring is good, then try it again I guess...

i have heard JL dealers say that they send back 20 amps out of a shipment sometimes.

i helped him re-wire his car last night.

just + into the + and - into the -, RCA's and remote.

and then there was some smoking and fire and whatnot.

bad amp was my guess...it was kinda neat to watch though.

haha yea it was like the 4th of july..but i did call Rockford today and there gonna fix it or replace it whatever it needs so thats the good news i suppose

rf has pretty good customer service from my experience with them
