running a bridged amp below 4 ohm

im considering running my powerbass asa 600.4 (100x4@4, 400x2@4 bridged) bridged on some boston pros (svc 3) and just trying to get an idea for how threatening this could be to the life of the amp. Has anyone done this? is it not worth it? or is the difference between 4 and 3 ohm close to negligible?

Could send it into protect. Only way to see is to try it. If it does work, the noticeable thing is it will run hotter than typical, and be a bit less efficient. So, it'll pull more current.
