The main reason (for me at least) to run below an ohm is due to D1 coils and all that fun stuff. Wiring them up to 2ohm is a lack of power, but .5 is a lot of power; not all subs have D2 coils or D4 coils for pairs. I try to get my load as close to 1ohm as possible. Ive ran two D1.4 coils down to .7ohm (but with box rise i got 1.1ohms) but thats itI wonder what would happen if all amps were .5 stable would you guys them run them at .3
