running 2 sets of speakers

i was wondering is there anything bad or good about running 2 sets of speakers to a 2 channel amp front to one channel and rear to another channel

and wire the speakers up in parrel so they equal a 2ohm load per channel

or should i go with a 4 channel amp

i would go with a 4 chan only cause it will give you more flexibility.

how would i have no stagging cant i turn the front channel amp gain up higher then the rear so i just have a lil rear fill

my rockford 401s has two seperate gains, one for each channel.....some amps do some dont but i would make sure before you buy....
