I have an extra PPI PCX 2200 lying around and was wondering the possible downsides running both the front and rear, other than loosing fade, which I dont mind since I like having "rear fill".

The PPI makes 400w at 2ohms per channel. Assuming the comps are each 4om, 400w would be plenty for pretty much any 2 comp sets.

What do you guys think? Good, Bad, OK idea? I really dont want to invest in a 100x4 4ohm amp...

Well, it's not something I would do since I would want to be able to fade out the rear speakers some.....but if that's not something you mind then there's no reason not to.

Just remember to wire both the left speakers to one channel and right speakers to the other that way you retain stereo sound.
