i really need to get a new amp for my comps/ I currently run the cali profile 400sx that has a terrible RCA input ad causes a whine occasionally, as if the RCA pick up the interference of the ground which i really think the only thing i can do about it is get a new amp .

I need b/t 100-150rms x 2 @ 4ohm. Trying to keep it about $200 if possible. I have never bought an amp to power comps so i am asking for a few suggestions hopefully in that price range.thanks

MB quart

can anyone tell me any good/bad info on any of these amps? I kind of like the mb quart to be honest. Would i be better off with any other amp in that price range?

why not this?if i'm correct birthsheets showed between 190 to 220x2 .http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9241_Rockford+Fosgate+Punch75.html

yeah, but i am going to get my parents or grandparents to buy it for me for christmas and they dont ever get on forums or anything looking for used amps, so this one will have to be new i think.

yeah but they usually birthsheet 6x's as much
just kind of hard to trust i have never owned RF before.... im not saying it is bad in any means. What about those other amps i listed? Anything wrong with ANY of them?

all are solid amps no doubt,i just think that rf is more bang for your buck, the others will have similar power but are 40 to 50 more bucks and the mb quart although cheaper will not do 200x2

headroom ftw, turn the gains down now but if you need the power in the future you will have it

ok well thanks man i will look into the RF do you own one? i just dont want to buy it and it really not have a birthsheet saying it will put out 190rms... i would be highly aggreviated you know? I want to make sure that amp does what you say it does.

Why don't you research the amp,go to the rf forum and ask around and see for yourself cause you are starting to make me sound as though i work for r.f better yet just go with the 1 that has the features you need and the price you want to pay

The 750 will give you better control at higher volumes as you won't be reaching clipping as soon..

I would pull the amp and bench test it with power and ground wires. If it still doesn't power up, its probably shot. My next step would be to...

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...
