I ran it under my truck, than came up in a factory grommet

x2...love those factory grommets in the floor! Way easier than trying to find or make a hole thru the firewall, especially in later model vehicles with all the crap in and under the dash!

i ran mine through my factory grommet, its ran down my driver side under the carpet, with kicker hyperflex 1/0

As my primary battery (soon to be 2) is up under the hood on the passenger side tucked right in the corner against the firewall and fender well, I simply followed a set of tube wrapped wires down the fender well to the frame and under the truck. There are grommets (not used) in the floor near the sill of the passenger side front door opening so I simply used one of those and came up thru the floor and then under the carpet. It was nice! With the carpet pad and carpet down and all the trim in place, there is no way you can even tell that there are two power wires coming up through the floor.

I wrapped the power lines with that corrugated black tubing to protect it from any road debris and caulked the hell outta the grommet area, both under the truck and inside at the floor. i think im gonna run through firewall or something then under carpet.

probly run power wire down the middle of the car, rca's down right side and then the speaker wire from the highend amp to the front doors on each side.

it just depends on the vehicle. I ran some 0 gauge in my vw passat right through the driverside nice and easily.

It's a Silverado and a pretty large truck...there is a lip at the door sill so the floor pan sits lower...combine that with the carpet pad and the carpet itself and you cannot even notice it is there...I also drilled out the grommet hole a little larger, added a larger grommet to protect the wire and came thru at an angle so the profile would be as low as possible.

I ran mine under the truck in a Carflex Ultratite Flexible Conduit

I went back into the cab through a factory grommet in the rear door seal, but had to make the factory hole bigger, to 1" so I could attatch the conduit to this

and send the wire through
