run an amp at full range or high

Ok just want to know if I am doing this the wrong way

set of 6.5s run off a 2 ch amp.

do you run the amp at full and not ajust anything other than the gain or

run at high and ajust the crossover points

The speakers are Infinity Reference 6020CS They are 90 watts rms 270 max

the amp is a power bass asa-1600

rms is like 100watts x 4 but 2 of the ch are running a 10in sub

well you also have to look at distortion level on that amp is probably real high remember power isnt everything

I put it on full I thought that it had way to much bass but I run my amp at full and it sounds great I guess its the qulity of the amp

You are an idiot.

OP; Yes, you want to run the highpass filter on the amplifier for the channels running the Infinity speakers unless you are able to highpass the drivers via another method (like a crossover built into the headunit).

You are not going to want to run them full range
