the thread..i shouldnt have said i have a 4 channel amp..didnt realize i said that..cause all these guys keep buying up all the 4 channel US Amps on ebay on buy it now and i cant wain any bids..maybe i should do a buy it now next time..hope i win that way...thanks...4 guage wire is good up to 150A fuse rating on amps..thats good to know...so i wil be okay..60+ say 40 or 60 = 120A i am cool...PAT..i got a question for ya..dude at shop says i need a cap or a yellow top battery if i wanna run muiltple amps..is this true??...i will be getting a yellow top before i do my 4 channel upgrade..but a new alt or cap..id ont wanna do that its a waste of money...and someone told me that caps are good for systems that are up to like 600 or 700w...mine is up there past 1700w..maybe he meant you need muiltple batts in the back instead of new alt or cap..i dunno...my alt is a 105A alt..my batt in the now is an 850CC batt...tested to about 655CC on meter..is this all cool..or should i still just get a yellow top then i will be okay???

i know you said PAT, but a cap is not what you need. running your system how you stated above will be fine for daily driving no competetion but an upgraded alt wouldnt be a bad idea since your amps max draw is 100A+ then w/e your car requires your max draw is probly around 160A. An alt would be good but not essential for DD just keep the volume under control and make sure you have a strong battery.

I ran close to 2000w on a stock battery and 100a alt before without any problems.

Thugpassion is right, just don't constantly blast the stereo and you'll be okay. And I also agree that the cap won't do what you, or the salesperson says it will.

cool..cause i am getting a yellow top for under the hood when current one dies...my alt should be okay..my lights dont dim or anything...cause i heard you need to upgrade your alt if you have over 1000w rms...i have 500 rms right now with that 4 ch i will get..about 820 to 850 rms
