RPM whine??

Why not run a single RCA all the way to the back, and then do the Y splitter and go to the amps off the splitter? I would bet that your issue is somewhere in the mess of adapters.
You have two sub amps, do your amps have a pass through that you could use?

If all else fails, radio shack has every kind of wire splitter ever made... OR, you could wrap all the adapter connections in electrical tape. If they are the kind of splitters/adapters I am thinking of, they have exposed metal shields that could be touching something.
hmm the single rca and Y split them near the amp isnt a bad idea... but I have 3 amps total..lol.. how do I know its that amp.. lol.. it sounds like it comes through my front stage comps.. lol.. I guess I just have to check a lot of sh*t..lol

the ground for the HU is on the barr behind the dash.. pretty solid metal bar with no paint on it.. lol
I could just move it to a different spot on the bar but that looks like the best ground back there..
Whats the bar connected to ?

Do you mean the thin metal bar that helps support the cd player? (the stock one at least).

I've been meaning to take mine out, its preventing my hu from going in all the way (its sticking out slightly)

Maybe get a DMM and test all your grounds. IDK what to tell you i only have 300 posts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

lol.. nah.. its like a suport bar.. its thick as hell and it runs from one side of the car to the other behind the dash board.. if you ever took off a dash you cant miss the big *** bar back there.. lol.. and you been more then helpful for a guy with 300 post...lol

Eliminate factors to figure our where it is coming from.

Eliminate an amp at a time to see where the problem is. If it is coming through the subs, it is likely the splitters. It if sounds like it is coming through the front stage, the problem is a ground in that amp/amp system.

Start with the subs, sub-bass is omni-present, you cant tell where the noise is coming from. It could be coming from the subs, but sounds like it is coming from somewhere else.

ok.. i eliminated the subs.. and the whine is comming from the front speakers.. I know you said that will most likely be a ground problem.. but all my power and grounds are directly from the yellow top battery.. nothing in between the amp's - and the battery's -.. the - wire on the amp is in all the way, no strands are sticking out.. all new rca's...everything is tight..all 4g wire from knu..no spliters or adapters on the 4 ch amp's rca
