Is it normal for when the car is at idle the bass on the sub is deeper/louder than when the car is moving?

should be opposite, the alt puts out less amps at idle, could just be no noises like wind and engine though

it just seems like the bass hit harder when the car is at idle that when i am driving.

Less engine noise and vibrations to interfere. That would be the only reason.
