i think dual 6.5's will fit in those speaker screened areas. I plan on doing that when im back home from summer work, so i hope they do, lol.

I plan on doing this to with my 4 MLI 6.5, and run them with my sundown 125.2. I haven't tried to see if they fit though.

Thats what I was thinking originally, but now Im thinking that I would want a little more boom. I listen to mostly rap when Im driving, so I definately need that thump. This space thing really sucks.

Reminds me why I havent driven a car without a wall in almost 2.5 years.

The Incriminator Audio Flatlyne looks pretty sweet. I bet it gets pretty loud, but still sounds really good as well.

Anyone know how wide and tall the hump is between the seats?

I dont want to cut anything, Im trying not to absolutely destroy a vehicle by drilling massive holes, cutting structural supports, and just generally doing whatever the hell I need to do to make it louder.

Ive done that with the last 2 cars Ive had and this is a just a clean daily ride. Ill be building an Astro that will have enough wattage to make you shit a brick.

Anyone have experience with the Kicker QS 6.5s?

Looks good, I like the pods. Where did you have the tweeters? I would probably glass them into the A pillars.

tweeters were in a pillars. If you put them in the right spot, most tweeters would mount flush. I've used focal access tweeters, cdt tw24's and kicker ks20's and they all have fit perfectly. But they of course are pretty small.

I would do a little ring and glass them in and recover the pillar in a material or paint it. Probably face the ones on the passanger side at the drivers seat and vice-versa.

I will be doing something with my a-pillars in the next week or two. probably some 4" dayton full ranges and some tiny super tweets. I have a spare set of a-pillars to play with.

Cool, Im going to look at some trucks over the weekend. I just wanna get one and get started on it.

I could make it loud... 2 6.5s in each door pod, a 6.5 in each A pillar, and a 6.5 in each kick. Would just need a big 4 channel like a Kicker ZX650.4.
