no, wont blow anything, but most batt chargers will trip if the current within the circuit changes... it will charge while the batt shows a constant voltage, but when the bass hits, it will shut off.
fire hazard if you have a ton of wires hanging out everywhere... otherwise there is no way really. too much amp draw causes the PSU to shut off, not burn. It wont even blow the fuse. There is still a fuse in the event that the circuit closes in an imperfect manner due to heat buildup in the case of unsoldering and resoldering connections.. but then there is a big fat fan that keeps it cool also. inefficiency is the only downside but then again, you make up for it in the money saved with the initial investment. youre looking at around 60 bucks to run a 1000 watt audio system in a house. what does that cost in home audio?
