Me Gusta Edition
and both republicans and democrats cant pull there heads out there own ***** to fix this country's money problems...
i think there's more at work than who is in office. Obama's administration has spent alot of money, it is a big factor i will admit. When super inflation hits, and our economy tanks worse than we ever dreamed, remember its us, you and me, who voted those worthless fucks in Washington into office year after year. Change? Only sheep believed that line.
My comment was not pointed at one specific official or political party. Our govt has been spending money irresponsibly for decades now, and we just keep voting them into office in hopes they will spend all that money on things WE want as individuals. Everyone is out for themselves, the politicians, the voters, the corporations, etc.i think there's more at work than who is in office. I think the other big big factor is the lack of job creation by the private sector. No jobs, no hiring, no new tax revenue. I saw the govt. is giving more than we are receiving in tax money.
Another crucial aspect is the general public's backlash to proposed tax raises. We pay the least in taxes among modern countries yet expect our govt. to do the most. That's just backwards thinking and we now see the "fruit" of such logic.
So there are solutions to this problem, the question is can our society get over their individual selfishness and do what needs to be done to repair this country.
I doubt it, we tanking like ancient Rome
you're right, and we don't have a world war or revolutionary invention like the internet to bail us out :/My comment was not pointed at one specific official or political party. Printing more money is one of the most direct paths to super inflation. The more money the govt circulates, the less value each dollar holds. Obama printing more money was, in my eyes, stealing money out of our pockets by devaluing our savings and our buying power, to fund Washington's out of control spending habits. 40 cents of every dollar our govt spends is borrowed money. And people say that's due to low taxes. Maybe, but our govt certainly is not known for spending money wisely or efficiently. Bridges to nowhere, wars in far away countries to protect oil assets when we dont utilize our own oil resources, lavish retirements for politicians, endless miles of red tape with an army of well paid govt employees to oversee it all, etc etc.All I was saying is that his actions bought us a little extra time.
But unfortunately that time wasn't used to figure out a solution to benifit the people.
It will take a collapse to open our eyes.
This.....finally someone just doesn't point to obama and put all the blame on him....we need to end these wars already they should have been over...all the tax break for the rich need to end we need to start using out own resources and we need to cut out all the bs.....Printing more money is one of the most direct paths to super inflation. Somewhere along the line our govt forgot that lowering taxes means lowering spending, and it turned into 'borrow the money until our debt forces the other side of the political aisle to cave in'. They are playing political games back and forth, using our money and economy, yours and mine, as the pawns on their chess board.
