Roof has ripped...Suggestions?

So i bought 50 marbles to do a lil bass trick with....as i'm setting them up i notice i have a tear in my roof.....what's the best way to fix that? lol I was thinking silicone but i'm not sure.

Silicon wont prevent it from ripping farther...gonna need to have it welded....

Yea, welding it up is really the only way to go. In the mean time, out some JB Weld on it, really heavy, should hold it somewhat and keep the elements out. Hell, even do that, then put some duct tape on the inside. Just go real crazy with it, if you dont plan on getting it welded soon. Then reinforce your roof. Lol.

so you like my ducktape idea?!?! lol... please dont call it duct tape its much better when you call it ducktape! lol.. JB weld is a good idea sir.. its also sandable and paintable so you can make a decent fix from T.G.O's idea.

Drill a ¼" hole at each end of the rip. this will stop it from going further. Then find someone to mig weld it. Good job though.

Did more investigating of noises...pulled some layers of deadener off and found my cross brace came loose and was flapping...or whatever the hell you call that thing...lol

I'm also realizing that my roof isn't metal....lol Fiberglass i think
