rockford hx2 RFR3110 ?????

I own an Acura RSX type-s, and was planning on goin with one 10. I'm getting the hx2 RFR3110 for a fair price and was wondering what kind of amp i would need. Also since its a 1000 watt rms will this sub drown out my highs and mids?? Also can you recommend any other good packages? With just one sub...would it be better with one 12 or one 10....i listen to mostly hip hop and some techno stuff...what kinda subs and amp would work well with the car and the music??? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated....Thanks

a g0od amp for the would be the power series of the rockford amps.

the bd1000.1(1000wx1 at 2ohms) or the bd1500.1(1500wx1 at 2 ohms) both half the power at 4 ohms.

if you got the room for a 12", then go for that, dats what i have, with a bd1000.1

another thing with the power hx2 is that its dual 2ohm voice coils.

meaning u can onl wire it for 1 ohm, or 4 ohms.

U will get many opinions on wether or not u can run those amps i listed at 1 ohm.

so that is a turn off for just one sub. if you have two, then its better.

but its a great sub, has much potential.
