what you think? (trading my w6's)

i posted an ad on craiglist that i would like to trade my (2) JLw6v2 subs in sealed box for a w7. i get an email from a guy whose willing to trade his 12w7 (excellent condition he claims) with his sealed box built to jl spec. however, 1 of my subs have a very very minor scuff on the woofer (purely cosmetic) but works perfect. how much cash do you think i should have him throw on top of his w7?

and another thing, at what ohm can i run the 12w7 with my bxi1606d? is it either .75ohm or 3ohm only?

i would keep w6 they will be louder and soud better (personal opinion

). and if you do trade, 2w6 are worth more than 1w7 so he should give you money.

why get a single w7 vs 2 w6's?

i think you will be happer in the long run...

I don't think your amp will like .75...but I am not sure...

I may be mistaken but I think the only w7 that is DVC is the 13w7.

Yep the 13w7 is a dual 1.5ohm woofer, and the 12w7, 10w7 and 8w7 are single 3ohm drivers.

And just like others have said...why trade? The W6 sound ALOT better. I've owned three 12W7's (see sig) and if i could have taken it back I would have gone with the 12w6. Easily one of the best woofers I have ever owned was the 12w6.
