...and yes i did a search...and didn't see anything one away or the other.

here is an ebay listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220240638598&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=012

he is selling them as used brahmas mkiv's

i contacted him and he said he just put his dust cap on them.

i have a gen1 brahma and not too familiar with the mkiv....i did obviously notice that the logo was different thats what raised the Q.

i'd like to know if anyone has anything to say about robotunderground....good or bad.

he overprices most everything he sells, and that logo is his logo.. since i am pretty sure he recones most the woofer motors he buys, he puts his logo on them when he resales them complete.

so your saying that it is a reconed MKIV....? but agree that it is an MKIV?

i know robotunderground is on the adire audio page as being a contact, i'm just wondering how creditable it is that it is truly a brahma.

$150+ s/h can't really beat it.

i have no idea if it's a brahma, did he have motor/basket shots? i didn't see any myself. Just the cone, but i highly doubt he'd risk his feedback over it and try to sale something that wasn't what it was supposed to be.

Not sure if you've seen this

hmm..interesting....i like my brahma and since i wrecked my cavalier, it is now in my bar hooked up to a 1000w toa concert amp. i was considering a pair of dayton high output 15's, but i love the way the brahma sounds...and this seems like a really good deal....almost too good, thats why i am skeptical.

although the daytons are $150 each and 800w....i dont know about there performance. i have not delt w/ their subs. i do have 3 pairs of their in walls and love the way they sound.

Robotunderground is a fuckin bottomfeeder. he goes around to all the buildhouse closings, and buys that stuff, puts wtf ever parts he can find on it (with no real consideration as to how it will work) and sells it for WAYYY more than its worth. he also buys all companies overstock, bstock, and nos parts (he bought alot of tc sounds OLLLLLLLD parts.., etc.) he pays alittle bit of nothing, really. now, that being said, if you have an off the wall, old stock stuff, etc. he is a good place to go. yuo will pay a **** mint for it, but, if you have to have it..

here is a link to check out some of his stuff..

i personally dont need any thing he has that bad, but some of you may!

Yes, he buys stuff off companies going out of business etc. But, that's also how you can be confident that is indeed a Brahma. RU has been selling Brahma's for quite a while now. And $150 is a bargain. If it wasn't so cheap, Id just recommend going with a CSS SDX instead.

Oops except you are trying to match your other Brahma.
