Ok so let me get this straight

You could have

A) fought back, because it was self defense. - you didnt

or

B) Pressed charges after you found out they found the guy. - you didnt (and you probly wont, even if you had 15 years to bring it back up)

C) Make a thread on a car audio forum, and be pissed about it later. - you did that.

I would have chosen option C also...............................

Next time don't play brake check games. I doubt you would have kicked his *** since you chose not to get out the first time you felt the impulse.

My brother got into an altercation with some guy who was riding his butt one morning. The guy swerved around my brother and at the red light started running his mouth. My bro flipped out and punched his own windshield and cracked it severely . I've also been in a situation where I wish I would've handed someone their ***, and regretted not doing it later. About 5 years ago some kid was staring me down for no reason...20 minutes later we're in each other's faces yelling. I wound up letting it slide because I was 19 and he was still in high school so my gut was telling me not to start a fight unless I wanted to go to jail. Back to your situation...I would press charges on the guy. I have a bad temper myself and could see how someone could temporarily black out, but from the sounds of it this wasn't something that caused the guy to just lose it all of a sudden. If his dad was riding your butt and flashing his lights, how come the son got out and started a fight with you? Just shows me that there was talk of doing some physical harm to you as soon as this ordeal started. Press charges, and if he tries to talk big again smack him with a lawsuit. If you choose not to press charges, just work on letting it go. I'm sure it's helped somewhat just posting it here and talking about it. If you don't let it go, it'll eat away at you and make you into the person he apparently is. Just remember the saying "water off a duck's back".

I got a golf club, knife and some metal pipe within reach of the drivers seat in my car lol.

Friend has a tire iron and knucks in his, was with him going to the store and we saw someone we knew, so he tapped his horn and waved to the guy. We'll RIGHT AFTER he honks we have to turn a corner, as we're turning these two hard ***'s in a red truck yell "STOP HONKING YOUR ****ING HORN FAGETS!". We'll, not in the mood to have someone yell at me for honking at a friend I yell back(with the window allready down) "**** YOU *****!". We go a good quarter mile and here a loud BRRRRRRR come right up behind with there brights on, same **** truck. I look at my friend, he guns it. We run the stop sign and keep going(its in my neighborhood so its not like we havn't ran them before), and the trucks stays right on our ***. I get the knucks out and put em on my hand, ready for him to stop and see wtf these guys want. We turn into an empty parking lot waiting for these two, not showing them anything yet. They pull in and I flash the knucks, they do a circle around us and leave the lot. In all it was a pretty funny reaction they had, tryin to be hard then see one thing and get scared.

you werent wrong at all...he was acting like an *******...he assaulted you..press charges on his *** and make hime pay for his dumbass actions.
