Roadraged: No CN's, just need to get ti off my chest

Man, I know have a headache as that might be the longest story on ca.com in a long time! I would just take a chill pill mang. You did the right thing not getting out of the car to futher make a situation which is bad already worse. So kudos for that. I know first hand what you have gone through, but a weapon was involved. Your story kinda reminded me of mine. Was going through traffic and got stuck behind a slow car. Went to pass and looked behind me and had time to get over a older cutlass cierra of all things speeds up right behind me acting like I cut him off or something. Well, I break check his *** HARD! I mean I almost skid my tires, stupid I know, but I had a huge rush of roadrage overcome me. So now he is really pissed as am I. He hits his high beams and I breakcheck him again. I am so furious at the situation, that I actually pull off to the side. I am on a freeway and was fairly late, but was so pissed, so I just did it. Well I was hoping he would just pass me, but nope he follows me and stops right behind me and almost hit my back bumper. He gets out and comes to my passenger window as there was still traffic. My doors were locked and my windows were tinted pretty dark. I can hear him calling me every name in the book. Then he starts hitting my car with his fist on the roof. The rage over took me! I got out and rushed over too him. Thing is I didnt know he had a bat with him. Well he hit me in my ribcage and did end up brusing me pretty bad. Well, the next time he swung, I jumped into the swing and kinda locked him up with it. I rustled the bat away and then he tried to get away and I struck him right in the middle of the back. He went down hard! So I stand over him, like was all this shit really called for, what the fawk is wrong with you? He just stoood there motionless. I could hear him gasping in air, so I lifted him up and leaned him against his front tire. He was pretty groogy, but then I thought about what happened and couldnt believe what had come over me. He ended up coming to after a couple mins. I went to call the police on my cell and he begged me not to get the police involved. He was singing the bird then. "I am so sorry, I just got pissed, been a bad day, blah, blah!" Then he went into I dont have a DL nor insurance and I need to go to work for my family. Can we just please drop this as this has been a huge mistake. So I thought about it and dropped it and just took off with my ribs hurting. That was a few years ago and I have never let my temper get to me like that. I have had similar situations like this happen, but never let it escalate.

^ haha, wish I had a truck now. it was a GMC Safari vs. my little econobox Subaru. Anyways, I love my car too much to do that. I'da pushed an 18 wheeler through the intersection if I saw him with a weapon though.
I guess I'll look into some minor charges. I don't really want money (although I could use it) I just want to feel that something was done about it.

I have a buddy in Security training to be a state policeman, he is gonna be getting me some of the spray foam mace (apparently the strongest and best stuff out there) which he says should drop anyone to their backs in about 2 seconds or less. I figure if for some reason someone needs to use me as a way to vent their frustrations with life again, they are gonna not be able to breathe or see for 3 hours.

I think I'm gonna join a fight club next weekend. A bunch of my buddies do this in secrecy and it works wonders for frustrations. I'll ask for the 4 oz. gloves and 5 shots of something 40% or better before hand.

Meh, we'll see. Maybe I just need someone to talk to about this that can understand how I feel a bit better.

I just hate feeling like I'm pathetic for not fighting back. Sure, I guess blocking his punches is a form of fighting back, but I would have rather done drastic stunning damage.

i would seriously press charges... only real redemption you can get now

if you would have kicked his *** then, or at least fought back, it'd be dismissed as self defense on your part. if you kick his *** now, it's aggravated assault.

press charges on him as fully as you can and let the law go to work. if the courts wanna give you money, take it, but at the very least i'd wanna see him pay a HEFTY fine or do some jail time.

only way I can see to legally help you get peace of mind and make him pay for his actions.

Ya the truck was nice f350 crewcab 4x4 with the 460 gasser, that honda didnt stand a chance, I pretty much backed the truck up onto it and the pintle destroyed the entire hood and motor. The crackhead just stood there and stared in disbelief, maybe he was worried about his spinner hubcaps.

canadian dream would disagree with me......but this is the times I wouldhave to use my gun.

I carry a steel pipe with me at all times, a 2 footer, in my lap or layed beside my ebrake (hand brake) havent used it yet, but wouldnt hesitate to rearrange someone mr potato head fashion.

****ers cant drive, the other day there was road work being done, so large traffic delays. People had stopped at a red light, and about 75 yards behind the red light is a turn into a Wal-Mart. I was sitting behind the entrance to Wal-Mart so people turning left can get in, Im in the far right lane, and theres people still moving in the middle lane to move up, a guy making a left, in a huge *** truck mind you, starts edging out seeing how the people in the far left have already stopped too. The guy in the middle lane decided he wasnt gonna let the guy through and leaves about half car space to let him through. The truck wasnt having it, started to make his way the guy in the middle starts blaring his horn. The truck keeps moving, the guy realizes he better back the **** up does so, truck goes through. The guy behind the truck begins to make the left, the guy in the middle ****in starts going again, while neither me or the other guy on the other side have moved. The guy in the middle in a small *** camry happened to be a male nurse with his foakelys on, sits there ****in cussing at the guy, "What the **** do you think your doing?" He moves back and lets the guy back giving him a wonderful gesture as he moves back. At this point I personally wanted to get out and beat the **** out of his ***** ***, and the light turns green we move forward, but the traffic is so congested you cant move forward much, but this dickwad decides hes gonna go ahead and just sit in the middle of the 4 way intersection and just chill. People honk at him and he jus sits there and flicks em off. Finally we all move up and hes sitting next to me again I glance at him and he gives me this dirty *** look... ohhh the temptation to get out and beat the **** out of him or simply run him over with my truck. Heh that would have been funny. But either way that plus working at a kids place has made me hate people, probbly more the kids place.

EDIT: Wow didnt realize how many cuss words that was, lol. But dont look to get him put in jail, fines or money sure but jail time... ehh dont do that, thats just gay. Ask what he would be looking at to a lawyer friend or something, and if you do press charges have them settle out of court or some thing...

Out of curiousity, have you ever been attacked in this manner? Or is the OT mentality showing only?

I'm pretty sure a good 99.9% of normal people would prefer to end situations with as little possibility of injury as they can.

actually Ive been on the other end of something like that, many years ago. I was the one who jumped out and punched another drivers window; they weren't boxed in and just drove away.

If someone did want to start shit, and i didn't see a weapon i would probably get out and fight; I'm 6'4" and about 225 pounds.
