Rms

I want my subs to put out 400 Watts Continuous power
Subs dont put out power. Amps do. The sub receives the power the amp puts out, theres no setting you put the subs on to make them receive rms or peak. The only way to change the wattage the sub recieves is to eithe get a new amp or wire your voice coils in series or circuit. But that's a little over your head.

AHHH forget it lol, anyways another question, my amp it only half way up if i turn it all the way up can that be dangerous?

im just asking if i turn my gain on my amp up can it ruin the ****ing amp or speakers. Jesus ****ing christ.
NO IT WONT. Do it. i do it all the time i love pissing people off with my 10" sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

whatever u schmucks are no ****ing help
I'll help you. Go plug your subs into a wall socket, that tests them and sets them to RMS power. It's the only way to do it. 1 minute in a wall socket sets them to peak power, 2 minutes sets them to RMS power. 3 minutes sets them in between that, will give your woofers a bigger punch so you can piss people off.

no ur just asking the question when all the smartasses (myself included) are on.... the older people are at work. if you are nice and dont say stupid **** you might be able to get one of them to be serious and tell you something....then again if you're asking how to be louder so you wake people up good ****ing luck.

No issues there. The amp will output depending on the speaker's impedance rating. Are you using a component x-over or is only the tweeter with x-over?
