RMS vs and/or = Rated Noise Power ?

Okay, Vifa BC25SC06-4 is rated for 25W rated noise power or 50W root mean square, rated noise power and RMS or average power should be the same but Parts Express rates the BC25SC06-4 at 50Wrms while the Tymphany spec sheet lists rated noise power at 25W, if Parts Express is wrong with their figures and average power handling is only 25 Wrms then i need to buy 2 more to soak up the wattage OR add a "large" series resistor, what gives and exactly how much power can i feed it ?

Edited: Nevermind, the Peerless spec sheet lists "long-term max system power" at 50W

The amount of power you can safely have on tap from your amplifier varies greatly. Some knowledgeable and experienced car audio veterans are exceeding the RMS power handling figures by 1 order of magnitude without issues. This is for headroom. Actual power used on average could be a few watts. It doesn't take but a few watts of real power to make tweeters uncomfortably loud, but the dynamics of your music, with crossover selection and gain structure, along with cuts on your EQ if needed and the common sense to turn the volume down all make this work in the end.

There's no need to "soak up" the power by wasting it with a resistor.
