RMS to my SWS-1241D's

Well my Memphis 16-MC300 (584 rms at 4ohms) is 2 weeks away and from what ive read and seen that should be perfect for my 2 SWS-1241D's!!!!! any thoughts????ive got an pre fab obcon center slot port box(about 1 1/2 cubes per side )i think

I say give them 250 ish....S's dont handle like the R's

Well then u gave us the wrong part number. SWR = Type R

Type R's are good to about 500W in a ported box.

If it says type R its a type R. I just read ur part number and that was a part # for an S. I personally think the Type R's sound better with less than 500, but, they are super loud with that much wattage. More power to ya, just adjust ur amp to the sound you want.
