Help building friends system...

hes looking at spending like 350 shipped on his subs. I recommended RE SE 12's. Do these come in dual 1 ohm coils? If they do, should he get the dual 1's or the Dual 4's for if hes wiring his subs in for a 1 ohm load (Series parallel for dual 1's/ Parallel Parallel for dual 4's) Whats a good 1 ohm stable amp for these? I was thinking a Brutus 1500 or JBL 1200....but i am not good at matching amps with subs.

i used to have JBL 1200.1 on a pair of 10" SE's, that worked very well. id look into a crossfire vr1000d, pretty sweet amp and will put out 1300+ watts at 14v
