I'm not quite getting this. Heck i don't even know what it stands for. The subs say it can handle a peak of say, 1500w's but only 450 rms? What? How do you know if its running at a certain RMS power. Is there any way to control this? Becuase most amps have far more power than need be, right?... You just control it how you wire them? 1, 2 and 4 ohms? or just by how loud you turnup the head unit?
Oh and what is the difference between a 2 ohm speaker and a 4 ohm speaker. Well the actual difference, physically. Could you wire two 2 ohm amps to be 4 ohm, how about 1 ohm? You know what i mean? Oh and whats better 1 ohm or 4 ohms?
Thanks guys,
Completely clueless.
