RLP Box.....Pics!

Here is an enclosure for 2 RLP 15's for a buddy of mine. Me and matt_martin87 worked on it and all that is left is the top and the sub cut-out. We will be doing a double baffeled top as well as bottom, as you can see. We also threw a little bracing in there too. Box is 6cf, tuned to 31hz with 61.5 sq inches of port area.

It's going in a ( i believe 89 probe) powered by a modded ma audio hk4000d. Should be loud as Balls.

Us forgetting a 45 in the corner FTL. Shouldn't be that big of a deal though.

Think we should do some bracing from left to right?

We have bracing going from front to back and the tops and bottoms are double-baffled. Shouldn't be too weak.

Goes in his car Monday hopefully. He still needs to run wire, get his kinetic batt in, and hook up new HU.

This should be the loudest setup I have personally heard. Not saying much since we live in Nebraska. Can't wait.

Little small on the port as the SS site recommends 35^2 per sub, so you might have some port noise.

I was running mine in 5^3 @ 30Hz and just put them in 5.8^3 @35Hz. Seem to be louder to the ear, but also lost a little bottom end.

You'll definitely like the SQ of those subs and they'll dig deep. Nice box build!!!

I would at least brace the inside of the port with a small MDF corner brace.
